Owned by a group of people with local and foreign background, they wanted a villa design that can represent a mix of local and international architecture. This project then becomes experimentation that explores mixing spectrum of Balinese and Mediterranean vibes in a modern contemporary style. The mix defined clearly between Mediterranean feel on ground floor and Balinese feel on upper floor.

Located on a sloped land with rice field view on the edge, the compound is divided and leveled carefully so that each villa can see the rice field view without lacking its privacy. Even though the plot is pretty small, the living room is managed to get a spacious feeling by having lot of big openings on all sides, blending with the surrounding garden. In the contrary, the bedroom upstairs designed pretty much walled to obtain warm feeling and privacy.
